Self-portrait: Taiwan Pride 2018
Hey, I'm Eloo, an aspiring content creator (mainly: writer, photographer), adventurer and bisexual woman that is looking for new ways to lift up people through visual stories I create. The process behind my aspirations comes from the feeling of not having been represented rightfully and proudly as a young queer woman; which resulted as a quite painful realization of my identity and a tough process of accepting myself. It also comes from the terrifying observation that most of my friends, people of colors, had also to go through a similar struggle and identity crisis because of the lack of diversity in media.
Fighting back prejudices about ethnicity and bisexuality, as well as not letting younger queers (closeted or not) feel the way I have felt when growing up became the main motivator for me to create content and make it accessible online. Being very sensible to all forms of art and finding therapeutic virtues in creating, I dived in more and more.
PS: my forever bisexual crush is Chantal Thuy, playing Grace Choi / Shay Li Wylde in Black Lightning (The CW).
